That bailout doesn't necessarily have anything to do with either Ford or Chevy's cars, that was only a small part of the problem. The CEO's and management of GM kind of screwed it over, and Ford is lucky to have a good CEO....... Chevy needing a bailout has no effect over how awesome some of their cars are, like this Camaro......

The reason I ask is that the drop doesn't look all that big, at least not to get that kind of compression on his feet and tires and suspension, even if it is to flat......... its just hard to tell with out being there I guess.

Well I haven't really ridden a shocker enough to completely tell, but I would definitely go with the commencal.

It rides really good on any type of DH trail. It is an average weight, mine is about 40 with a boxxer WC.

Nope. The only thing I am saying is that right now, Dodges Hemi is a better engine than the 5.4 in the Ford. In terms of interior quality and pretty much everything else, everything that should be there in a useful truck, Ford has dodge beat.

well the raptor right now only has that same 5.4 liter as in all the F150s, they are going to put a much needed 6.2 in with some good power soon though, which will have similar power as the dodge. The dodge just feels way faster when accelerating, and the Hemi or whatever exhaust system comes stock just sounds way better than the ford, the ford just kind of wheezes up the on-ramp pretty slowly.
The new Ford engine will change that though.

going to have to go with BOB on this one, I don't know about longevity or quality, but the Hemi in the new Ram is pretty amazing. It will blow the doors off the 5.4 ford.
